Talky Labs, a Spanish startup developing AI-powered technology to automate accounting and financial operations, has raised €1.5 million in a pre-Seed funding round to support team expansion, further product development and improvements to the company’s technical infrastructure.

The investment, closed in September 2026, saw participation from venture capital firms HelloWorld, Silence VC, Motive Force, and Aera Capital. Alongside angel investors Sebastián Gunningham; CEO of Remitly, Paul Golbaum; CEO of Lightbase and former CTO of Seedtag, and Javier Morenés, among others.

“Two years ago, I met my co-founder Jorge Beamonte at a networking event. That night, I called my mom and told her: ‘Mom, today is the most important day of my life. Everything is about to change,‘” said Maximilian Letón in a public statement.

Talky’s funding comes amid a series of European investments in AI-powered accounting and financial operations during 2026.

In Belgium, Dytto raised €1.5 million to develop its AI assistant for accountants, while Denmark’s Plinto secured €2.9 million for automated financial controls. Germany’s mika raised €6 million for AI-powered accounting and tax services, and UK-based Zalos obtained €3.1 million for enterprise finance automation.

In Spain, Barcelona-based Dolfin secured €2.1 million for adjacent financial workflows.

Together these rounds amount to approximately €66.8 million, including Talky’s investment.

“Every company has its own way of doing accounting, and it’s almost never written down. Talky learns those criteria, applies them to the hard cases and turns them into information for better decisions,” adds Jorge Beamonte, co-founder and CEO of Talky.

Founded in 2025 by Jorge Beamonte; CEO, and Maximilian Letón (23); COO, Talky aims to help businesses automate financial processes that traditionally depend on accountants’ experience and knowledge of internal company practices. Despite operating with a team of just nine employees, the startup reports having processed more than 1.8 million documents and over €2 billion in client expenditure through its platform.

The company addresses a common challenge in corporate finance departments: accounting decisions often rely on information scattered across enterprise systems, spreadsheets, emails, contracts and individual employees’ knowledge. While conventional automation tools can process standard transactions, unusual invoices or exceptions frequently require manual intervention, creating delays and increasing the risk of errors.

Talky’s platform uses AI to learn from a company’s historical accounting records and the expertise of its financial teams. Rather than relying exclusively on predefined rules, its technology identifies how previous transactions were handled, extracts relevant accounting criteria and applies that knowledge to new financial operations.

When the system encounters an unfamiliar situation or lacks sufficient information to make a decision, it identifies the appropriate employee to consult.

According to the startup, its technology processes between 86% and 93% of accounting documents without human intervention. The platform can read invoices, suggest accounting entries, review tax information and reconcile bank transactions before recording the results in the client’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

The funding comes as Talky looks to expand its presence among large enterprises and financial services providers managing high volumes of transactions. Its founders have identified recruitment as a central priority, with plans to grow the team while continuing to develop the platform alongside existing customers.
