So in appears that in 2018 Peak Production of Gasoline occurred at 111,901 thousand barrels for the year. Then of course Covid occurred which caused massive demand destruction on 2020 to 96,606 thousand barrels for the year. It has not recovered since then, in 2025 total production was at 106,857
thousand barrels.

Exports of finished motor fuel is below what it was at the peak around 2018 but has been increasing.

So the petro dollar is in serious decline it would appear perhaps this is due to countries switching to purchasing gas in currencies other than dollars. Thats 4.5% decline since 2018 of motor fuel needs.
