Munich-based Elevatry, an AI platform for strategic procurement, has closed a €3 million pre-Seed financing round in order to enhance its platform, expand its team, and support market entry in Europe before expanding to North America.
Investors include Bayern Kapital, the management consultancy H&Z, and several business angels, among them Jan Henner-Theißen, Martin Berr-Sorokin, Mike Simon, Markus Ehrle, Andreas Junck, and Alexander Bruehl.
“Strategic purchasing is one of the biggest drivers of results in a company. So far, it’s only being used where there’s sufficient capacity and the necessary expertise,” says Heiko Schwarz, co-founder and CEO of Elevatry. “Our partners handle complex thinking and execute tasks at the highest level. This allows purchasing teams to apply the methodology of their best category managers to every product group. Our investors bring together capital, exclusive purchasing expertise, and market access. From now on, we’ll demonstrate the impact on our customers.”
Elevatry’s financing follows several European funding rounds in AI-powered procurement and related purchasing infrastructure during 2026.
These include Paris-based Pivot’s €34.4 million Series B, Italy’s Soource with €3 million, and German startups Procuros and Finches, which secured €20 million and €2 million, respectively.
Notably, Bayern Kapital also participated in Finches’ pre-Seed round, highlighting an earlier investment in AI-driven procurement technology.
Across eight selected comparable funding announcements covered by EU-Startups this year, approximately €75.5 million has been raised, rising to €78.5 million when Elevatry’s round is included.
“Elevatry combines a highly experienced founding team with a clear vision for the future of strategic procurement. The AI-native platform addresses a significant efficiency and value creation lever within companies, generating immediately tangible customer benefits through the intelligent use of procurement knowledge and data.
“At the same time, the company operates in an attractive, rapidly growing market for AI-powered procurement software. We look forward to supporting the team on its continued growth trajectory together with a strong consortium of business angels,” adds Monika Steger, Managing Director, Bayern Kapital.
Founded in 2026 by Heiko Schwarz, Christian Ruck, and Tizian Ruck and is headquartered near Munich, Elevatry is an AI platform for strategic procurement. Its companions (including Category Strategist, Negotiation Coach, and Risk & Integrity Manager) handle the routine analytical work along the source-to-contract process, providing procurement depth and industry- and commodity-group-specific expertise.
As a system of initiative, the platform plans proactively, prioritises based on impact (€), and prepares proposals – decisions are made collaboratively. Customers configure their own levels of autonomy, approvals, and data sovereignty on an open multi-LLM architecture.
According to the company, strategic procurement significantly influences the costs, quality, resilience, and compliance of the entire purchasing volume.
The potential is substantial: For a company with €1 billion in revenue and €500 million in purchasing volume, a 10 percent improvement can translate into €50 million in additional profit. At a 5 percent margin, this would equate to a doubling of revenue to €2 billion.
In practice, purchasing teams often only have the capacity to actively manage a portion of suppliers and product groups – thus leaving a large part of the potential leverage untapped.
Elevatry sees itself as a system of initiative rather than a system of record. The platform plans proactively, prioritises based on impact in euros, and prepares proposals. Decisions are made collaboratively. Customers configure their own levels of autonomy, approvals, and data sovereignty on an open multi-LLM architecture.
Each result grows into a further optimized knowledge layer that belongs exclusively to the customer.
“We have been supporting Elevatry with great conviction since its founding. Agentic AI will fundamentally change procurement by intelligently automating repetitive knowledge work and effectively supporting decision-making processes,” say Harald Enz and Jonas Harm, Managing Partners of H&Z.
“Elevatry creates a unique combination of leading AI technology and deep procurement domain knowledge. For us, it’s clear: Our clients expect us not only to observe innovation, but to actively shape it and translate it into concrete added value. That’s why we are investing in Elevatry and will closely support the company as a strategic partner on its growth trajectory.”
Elevatry will use today’s funds to further develop its platform and companion portfolio, as well as to implement the accompanying go-to-market activities for market entry. The team will therefore be expanded, particularly in engineering, AI, marketing, and customer support.
The initial focus is on market entry in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and the EU, with international expansion planned for the medium term, focusing on North America.
