A 28-bedroom country estate and a property with its own golf course were among the high-end homes that excited property watchers the most in 2025.
The most-viewed listings of 2025 have been revealed, and the results show that meticulously-renovated period properties, sprawling acreages and quirky homes were favourites among house-hunters this year.
The property that topped the list was a heritage-listed 17-hectare estate in the Adelaide Hills that was offered to the market by family-owned hotel operator Piermount.

The estate, which included the company’s headquarters and as well as several short-term holiday rentals on the grounds, racked up 73,548 views in 2025.
It was followed by another South Australian home, known as ‘Yatahlia Manor’, which garnered 61,419 views.

The eight-bedroom neo-classical home is set on a lush 2.9ha landholding that includes an expansive duck pond and a 662sqm hangar.

Concealed behind the picturesque facade of the $35 million home are marble-clad interiors, hanging gardens, a rooftop lap pool and a 12-car garage stocked with vintage European sports cars including a Ferrari 308 GT4 and a Porsche 911.
The next most-viewed listing was an acreage in south east Queensland that included a custom motocross track with multiple jumps, as well as a resort-style pool, sauna and teppanyaki pavilion. It was viewed 58,567 times.

Number five on the list was a brand new Bel Air-inspired Toorak mansion that was viewed 58,134 times.

The limestone-clad home include a double-height living room, sculptural circular staircase, infinity pool, gourmet kitchen with Gaggenau appliances and VZug ovens, and 7-car garage.
Sixth place on the list went to a picture-perfect renovated six-bedroom period cottage in Semaphore in Adelaide’s northwest.

The classic home, which was viewed 58,108 times, included an open-plan rear addition, swimming pool and cabana.
An $8 million, 280 acre estate on the Murray River that included its own 5-hole golf course designed to replicate Augusta National, the home of the Masters, was the seventh-most viewed property with 57,440 views.

The Northern Territory home of Outback Wrangler Matt Wright and wife Kaia came in eighth place with 54,108 views. It included a crocodile pen that once housed Spicy, a 4.5 metre saltwater crocodile.

Rounding out the top 10 was an opulent Toorak mansion with a tennis court, and leafy acreage in Brisbane’s south that included a six-bedroom home spread across five pavilions, as well as a 15-car showroom.
Sydney’s most viewed listing was a five-bedroom Cremorne mansion known as ‘Ingleneuk’ that was sold by media power couple Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons in October.

In Perth, a nine-bedroom City Beach pad with development potential topped the list of most-viewed properties, while Hobart’s top property was a homely period cottage with lush gardens.
Canberra’s most popular property was a curvaceous Deakin home with a $7.7 million price tag just footsteps from Parliament House.
