A brand new, two-storey, four-bedroom home is going under the hammer in Geelong’s thriving suburbs to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
A collaborative effort between home builder Henley Homes and developer Villawood Properties, this is the latest edition of a long-running annual property auction that raises money for The Good Friday Appeal, benefitting Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Good Friday Appeal has been raising money for the vital medical centre since 1931. Henley Homes became involved in 1991, donating the first house to be auctioned for the fundraiser.
That Berwick home fetched $136,000.
The modern family home that will hit the block on 18 April, 2025, is anticipated to go for substantially more, with organisers expecting it to continue the trend of the past couple years, reaching at least the million-dollar mark.
It would hardly be surprising if it reached and exceeded that price, given the fundamentals of the newly built detached house.
Located in the Armstrong land estate at Mount Duneed, just 20 minutes to the heart of Geelong and 10 minutes from Torquay, this new community has been turning heads with its great location and new, sought-after amenities.
They include the resort-style Club Armstrong, community and retail opportunities, parks, playgrounds, and nearby schools.
The house itself, one of Henley’s popular Juno designs, features 436 square metres of living space on a 512 square metre block.
It includes a main bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite and three secondary bedrooms also with walk-in robes.
A generous kitchen, butler’s pantry, wine room, leisure room, and home office spaces ensure there’s plenty of space to accommodate a big, bustling family.

The home comes fully-furnished as well, making it a great opportunity for buyer looking for a no-hassle move.
Each and every feature that went into creating this home has been donated, right down to the materials, fittings, furnishings, landscaping, trades services and land. The latter is estimated to be worth $500,000 alone.
Villawood’s executive director, Rory Costelloe, commented that the development firm had been thoughtful in selecting the site for this year, hoping to build on the strong result of 2024.
“We raised a record $1,110,000 last year at our Alamora community in Tarneit on the back of million-plus efforts at both Coridale Lara and Redstone Sunbury the two previous years.”
For the 2025 fundraiser, Mr Costelloe commented that they had selected “a key growth corridor and a premium lot close to all the special features Villawood’s known for – the residents’ club, playgrounds, parks, schools, kinders and lots more”.
Henley’s general manager of marketing, Tindi Sorbera, said “an enormous amount of love and affection” had been poured into the home from everyone involved in its creation.
“We can’t wait for Good Friday to meet the lucky family who will not only call this 7-star Juno 442-D48 their new home but will also make an enormous difference to so many lives through their contribution to the Good Friday Appeal.”
The home is currently open for inspections on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays.
